Hundreds of care home residents across East Lothian can now keep up to date with the latest local news thanks to a new community initiative from Robertson Homes.
We have arranged for every care home in the county to receive free weekly deliveries of the East Lothian Courier newspaper so residents can keep abreast of news and views from the region.
Robertson Homes has two popular developments of new homes in East Lothian – Dovecot Grange in Haddington and Fair Acres in Dunbar, where we recently sold our final property.
Karen Mercer, sales manager at Robertson Homes, said: “We all know how difficult this year has been for care home residents and their families in particular.
“We also understand the importance of the local newspaper, especially one which has been at the heart of the community for many decades.
“Community is central to everything we do at Robertson Homes and we strive to make the areas we develop become even better places to live. We want to play our part in supporting The Courier’s future whilst at the same time giving some enjoyment to the residents of our wonderful care homes.”
