Falling in love with Great Glen Hall
Julia Mclean visited Great Glen Hall on the advice of an agent who’d actually been showing her another property. She said: “He urged me to visit saying he had never fallen in love with a development as much as this one! So, I came and fell in love with it too.
“I’d previously renovated a Victorian villa and wanted character. The building is so impressive as your drive up and when we walked into the show home I just knew it was for me.”
Julia bought a Sharma, a three-bedroom townhouse with front and back gardens, 3.5m high ceilings and deep window sills and moved in at the beginning of March.
She said: “The ground floor is open plan with lovely windows and direct access to the back garden which is private. On the first floor is a big landing with storage and two bedrooms and a bathroom and at the top is a master bedroom suite – honestly I have dreamed of a room like this all my life! It’s gorgeous.
“I moved to be closer to my family and expected to be visiting them a lot but in fact what’s happened is that everyone now comes here, one because the space is so lovely and sociable but also because there are so many lovely long walks with Great Glen right on the doorstep.”
With a property to sell she was grateful for constant updates from the Robertson Homes’ sales consultants and with light fittings, flooring and blinds included with her property the move into her new home was simple.
She said: “It worked out perfectly. I have the best combination of character with the amazing benefits of a new build and without doubt the best view in Inverness!”
Company endorsement
“Jacqui and the team have been amazing from my initial enquiry all the way through to moving in. Graham was meticulous when taking me round my new home, explaining all the new features and was always so quick to respond with any queries - even during lockdown. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend buying with Robertsons Homes. In fact, I already have - to my brother!”
