St. Margarets is a luxury new development to Midlothian, close to the village of Roslin and just seven miles south of Edinburgh city centre.

Part of the wider masterplan for the former Rosslynlee Hospital and a new stand-alone village, St. Margarets will feature 121 new four, five and six bedroom detached homes. Set within a parkland environment of mature woodland with breath-taking views, the development is in an idyllic location, offering the best of both worlds in a rural setting and close to the city.

There’s a fantastic choice of shops and restaurants at nearby Straiton Retail Park including Next and M&S Food while nearby Penicuik offers a Tesco superstore. For your daily essentials, the village of Roslin has a small range of local convenience stores, pubs and restaurants.

For leisure, the area benefits from attractive countryside and outdoor activities. Walk, run or cycle through scenic routes around the Pentland Hills, Roslin Glen Country Park and the River Esk. Explore local tourist attractions including Rosslyn Castle, Wallace’s Cave and the world-famous Rosslyn Chapel. Golf enthusiasts can enjoy a round of golf at Glencorse and Whitehill House golf courses, just a short drive from the development.

The new village is a prime location for commuters with excellent transport links by road via the Edinburgh City Bypass and M8 and M9 motorways. Eskbank Railway Station offers frequent services to Edinburgh and for journeys further afield, Edinburgh Airport is just 14 miles away.

A new Robertson home is something rather special. The difference is spacious rooms with plenty of natural light. Elegant design and clever layout. Specification that’s way above the industry standard, in every price range, and all built and finished with rare attention to detail.
