Our newest sales consultant Geraldine Renfrew knew she wanted to work for Robertson Homes after visiting friends in their new home at our Glenburn Manor development at Jackton.
She said: “I just fell in love with their home! Robertson Homes are so superior to other new builds – it’s like night and day! The specification and the build quality are so good I knew I wanted to be part of the company.”
Geraldine was working for a volume housebuilder at the time and jumped at the opportunity when several months later a vacancy arose at Glendevon Grange at Winchburgh.
She said: “I had worked as cabin crew for 26 years but moved into new homes sales six years ago as it still gives you the same opportunity to work with people.
“I absolutely love the role, from the moment people walk through into the show home to the moment they get the keys to their own home to seeing them months later settled in and happy. I love helping customers on one of the most important journeys of their life.”
She took over from George Scott who launched Winchburgh and is now about to launch our Hamilton Heights development in Hamilton.
Geraldine said: “I had some big shoes to fill as George is so passionate and enthusiastic about the properties. All the consultants love working for Robertson Homes and really support each other. We released four properties over the Easter weekend which all sold and I am really enjoying getting to know the buyers and keeping them updated.
“There are only eight more properties, plus the two show homes, yet to be released.”
Away from work Geraldine and husband Robbie enjoy hill walking with their 18-month-old German Pointer dog, Strudel – named after Robbie’s favourite desert when they go away ski-ing.
“I enjoy down time outdoors and being able to visit my daughter Christie who bought her own home last year about a mile away,” said Geraldine. “I feel very fortunate to be able to be in Winchburgh, working from such lovey properties and helping families find their dream home.”
