Two community events at our Thorn View development at Bearsden saw new residents getting into the spirit of Christmas.
Despite the frosty wintery weather there was a huge turn out when a giant Christmas tree arrived on site with residents helping to decorate it with baubles and lights.
A few days later there was more festive fun with a Christmas lights switch on with everyone gathered for carol singing and a rousing count down.
The wonderful brass band from Bearsden Academy provided a rousing seasonal soundtrack. The talented pupils played carols and residents joined in for a communal sing-a-long before enjoying yummy food in the show home.
Senior sales manager Julie Henderson, said: “This will be the first Christmas at Thorn View for residents and the events were a lovely way for people to meet their neighbours and get into the spirit of the season.
“The decorated tree looked wonderful and the switch on was such a fabulous evening! Our huge thanks to the Academy’s brass band which helped create a really lively atmosphere - the pupils are incredibly talented and a real credit to the school.”
