Woodland Creatures Heading Towards Our Inverness Developments

If you go down to Craig Dunain Woods in September, you’re sure of a big surprise!

An enchanting outdoor theatre production for children is coming to the woodlands surrounding our Great Glen Hall and Great Glen Gardens developments in Inverness and we can’t wait.

Woodland Creatures is a fun mixture of live music and puppetry, with plenty of opportunities for interaction and creative play.

Celebrating nature and creativity, children are invited to become one of the pack, joining the Woodland Creatures in their natural habitat and assisting them in carrying out daily tasks.

The free hour-long show for children aged between two to eight will take place around the duck pond in Dunain Community Woods on Sunday 12 September.

Jacqui McPherson, sales manager for Robertson Homes said: “Dunain Community Woodland is already a magical place, especially for younger children who love playing and exploring nature around the beautiful pond area and Robertson Homes was delighted to offer the woods as a venue for the show.

“This event will bring audiences out of lockdown hibernation by connecting children with the nature on their doorsteps and we hope many of our new residents will come along and enjoy the performance.”

Tickets for the shows which star Aberdeenshire-based actor and dancer Sara Burr, Moray-based puppeteer & circus performer Rachael Macintyre and actor and musician David Rankine are available to book at www.eden-court.co.uk with performances at 11.00am and 1.30pm.

Jacqui added: “Events like Woodland Creatures highlights how brilliant it is to have such beautiful nature so close to your home.

“We know everyone who attends will fall in love with the landscape so we will be happy to invite visitors to check out our new homes at Great Glen Gardens if living the outdoor life takes your fancy.”
