There can’t be many new homes sales consultants in Scotland with more experience than Patricia Fleming.
Patricia has been helping people find their new homes for 30 years, so it’s fair to say she knows the process of buying a property inside out.
And that experience will be put to good use helping Robertson Homes’ customers complete their dream moves to our Hamilton Heights and Dargavel Village developments in West Scotland.
Patrica explains: “I joined Robertson Homes from a smaller developer in Ayr but I have also worked for some of the larger volume developers, such as Taylor Wimpey, Barratt and David Wilson.
“I’ve experienced the full range of new homes products and processes on the market. Robertson’s homes have always stood out, in terms of the quality, spaciousness, style and innovative features like the signature garden room designs which everyone seems to love!”
Now having the opportunity to sell Robertson’s homes for the first time, Patricia is already expecting her maternal nature to kick in.
“My favourite part of this job is helping people build their dreams, handing over the keys to a new home knowing you have delivered complete customer satisfaction.
“If you’re doing this job right, you feel like you become part of the customer’s family, at least for the period you are helping them through the process of buying a new home.
“And this is especially emotional when helping first time buyers. I find myself becoming almost motherly, treating them as though they were my own family starting out in their first home. If you’ve never bought a house before, whilst exciting, it can also be daunting to some people, so knowing they have somebody taking care, protecting and looking out for them can be very reassuring and that’s what I love to do.”
After 30 years in the role, we had to ask for Patricia’s best piece of advice for people looking for a new build home.
“Follow the process, it’s as simple as that” explains Patricia. “Robertson Homes has worked incredibly hard to put together process and procedures which not only keep new customers engaged and updated at every stage of the purchase, they also ensure there aren’t any hidden surprises and hiccups.
“It’s easier now for people to get information about homes on the internet and customers are much more knowledgeable and informed than ever before.
