Getting Around

Dargavel Village has excellent transport links including a new junction that offers easy access to the M8 motorway and onto Glasgow city centre, Braehead Shopping Centre and Glasgow International Airport. Bishopton train station is a short distance away and benefits from a 'Park & Ride' facility and is served by a frequent rail service. Trains go into Paisley Gilmour Street and through to Glasgow Central Station and in the opposite direction, run on the Inverclyde line to Gourock and Wemyss Bay. There are also frequent bus services to the surrounding towns and Glasgow city centre.

Keep right at the fork to stay on the M8 until you reach Junction 29A – take this exit to Bishopton. At Craigmuir Roundabout take the 1st exit onto Greenock Road/A8. At Barrangary Roundabout take the 1st exit onto Barrangary Road. Continue on this road and Dargavel Village will be on the left.
