First time buyers Aman and Sandy wanted their first home to be their forever home and had done lots of research and looked at lots of properties before arriving at our Wynyard Woods development in Wynyard Estate near Stockton-on-Tees.
The couple moved into their new home in May, several weeks after completing the purchase.
Sandy explained: “We completed in March and because everything went so smoothly we were a couple of weeks ahead of our deadline.
“In fact, Robertson Homes’ customer service, from the moment we first visited site to after we moved in, has been fantastic. The transparency, honesty and attention to detail was so reassuring and the build quality of the house is outstanding.
“We feel like our house has been built with a high level of love and care, as if they were building for a family member. We are very happy with our new home.”
The couple have particular praise for site manager Michael Rowbotham, who was recently awarded the NHBC Pride in the Job Quality Award.
Sandy said: “Robertson Homes treated us so well and nothing was too much trouble. We were cautious about buying a new build but the attention to detail was so reassuring. We were talked through the plans – not just room layouts but the whole build process, from the insulation to the brickwork, where the pipes would be, the electrics and the heating system.
“And of course we love the architecture of the house. It is so well laid out it encourages an easy and happy lifestyle.”
The couple opted for a five bedroom Mitchell house type and love the large kitchen/ living space with its impressive garden room.
Sandy said: “As soon as we walked in we could see the shafts of sunlight coming through the big windows into that room and we just love it.
“We are using the space as a dining room while the other end of the kitchen area we have as a sitting area with a TV. This has fast become the hub of the house and where everyone congregates as there is lots and lots of space.
“Honestly, we cannot praise the whole Robertson Homes team enough for making such beautiful homes with such high quality. It really is a dream home.”
