Robertson Homes has completed the acquisition of Wynyard Woods, our new development of luxury family homes close to Wynyard Village.
Work will begin this month on building the 143 four, five and six-bedroom homes on the 27.7 acre site on the western edge of the desirable Wynyard Estate, five miles north of Stockton-on-Tees.
Wynyard Estate is one of the most sought-after addresses in the North East of England, set within 885 acres of woodland and within the magnificent grounds of Wynyard Hall. Wynyard Woods follows our hugely popular Wynyard Estate development, a collection of 39 homes which sold out earlier this year.

As part of the development agreement, Robertson Homes will contribute £2.35m to local education and health services and the offsite provision of affordable housing.
Wes English, Land Director at Robertson Homes North East, added: “The acquisition of Wynyard Woods is a major statement of intent for Robertson Homes’ North East region and along with other new sites coming soon at Lambton Park and Elwick we have nearly 250 new homes in the immediate pipeline, along with 48 homes currently under construction in Burnopfield.”
First completions at Wynyard Woods are expected by the summer of 2024.
