As the much-anticipated show home at our latest development Coniscliffe Grange opens its doors to the first visitors we catch up with the new sales consultant Matthew Pelusi.

Matthew lives in Middlesbrough, and worked in retail as a customer services manager for 15 years before moving into the world of property. He has two dogs Annie and Alfie and loves to travel.

Coniscliffe Grange is in the village of Low Coniscliffe, just outside Darlington and will offer just 30 large family homes of exceptional space and luxury inside and generous gardens outside.  The show home -  a five bedroom Nasmyth Garden Room– has been beautifully furnished using a rich palette of textured fabrics with some quirky design touches.

Matthew said: “It’s gorgeous! I absolutely love it and I think customers will be inspired by what the team has created. All the properties at Coniscliffe Grange are large – the smallest is 1700 sq ft – and all feature Robertson’s signature Garden Room which will have bi-fold doors onto the gardens which are huge. Much bigger than on most new developments.

“I am new to Robertson Homes and I am so impressed with the design and layout of the properties and blown away by the quality of the fittings and high specification you get even as standard. It really is a step above the norm.

“For me the best part of the job is the interaction with customers, understanding what brought them to Low Coniscliffe, their lifestyle and what sort of property they are looking for.

“Helping them on the journey from the day they first visit to the day they move into their new home is such a pleasure.”

Although less than two miles from the centre of Darlington, Low Coniscliffe offers a rural retreat for families wanting a more relaxed lifestyle.

Matthew said: “The village has a lovely feel with a local pub and some interesting old houses. Our development has lots of open green space and when complete residents will be able to access the river bank directly for walks. It is going to be a very special place to live and I’m looking forward to meeting the new residents.”

Interesting Matthew fact: I love New York. I’ve been eight times so far and it will be the first place I go when travel is unrestricted!
