Building Community Spirit in Darlington

Having recently launched our new Coniscliffe Grange development in the village of Low Coniscliffe near Darlington, it is easy to see why the town was recently named one of the most thoughtful in the UK.

Darlington came sixth in a survey to find the UK’s most thoughtful places, based on criteria such as volunteering, charity support, community gardens and recycling.

We’re lucky to have a development in such a great location so we wanted to play a part in celebrating the town’s achievement.

If you know of somebody in Darlington who goes out of their way to make the town an even better place to live, let us know and we might surprise them with a beautiful bouquet of flowers delivered to their door.

Whether it is charitable fundraising, caring for more vulnerable members of the community or volunteering, tell us about a community hero of any age whose act of kindness makes a difference and we could be sending them a special ‘thank you’ on behalf of the town.

Karen Mercer, sales manager at Robertson Homes said: “Darlington clearly has an amazing community spirit and we can’t wait to start our own new community at Coniscliffe Grange.

“We hope this campaign will help to put a smile on people’s faces and show that community efforts don’t go unnoticed.”
