Robertson Homes has won a coveted award at the What House? Awards 2025 in London.
We were presented with the Bronze Award in the Best Medium Housebuilder category at the awards knows as ‘The Oscars’ of the housebuilding industry.
Now in its 45th year, the What House? Awards once again celebrated the very best new homes in Britain and were hosted by television presenter Gabby Logan in front of 1,200 industry professionals, at a glittering gala lunch at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel.
The Best Housebuilder categories are among the most prestigious awards of this year’s event, with the judges impressed by the quality of Robertson’s homes and the company’s innovative thinking.
John Murphy, managing director at Robertson Homes, said: “To be in the same room with the very best in the UK’s housebuilding industry is an accomplishment in itself; but to then be recognised in the top three medium-sized housebuilders is a magnificent achievement and I am proud of everyone in our business for making this happen.
“Whilst it is satisfying that we were highly rated for the quality and design of our new homes, it is equally important that the judges felt our overall commitment to and delivery of customer service is exceptional. That is what we strive to deliver for every customer who buys a Robertson home.”
Rupert Bates, editorial director of What House? and Show House, said: “ It has been an incredibly tough year for the housebuilding industry and to continue to deliver such high-quality homes is testament to their hard work and passion for what they do.

The Best Medium Housebuilder bronze award is the latest in a long line of industry awards for Robertson, and the fifth consecutive year the business has won a prize at The What House? Awards.
We were also a finalist in another major awards event – the Housebuilder Awards – earlier this month, where our Lionfields development in Chester-le-Street was shortlisted in the Best Design for Three Storeys or Fewer category.
John added: “This award isn’t just for 2025, it is the culmination of many years of hard work from a dedicated and passionate team. The sheer number of awards we have picked up over recent years, from interior design to individual homes and wider developments has demonstrated what makes this business special.
