Welcome to Robertson Homes Online Consultation for the Proposal of Application Notice for the land at Strathaven Road, Hamilton (planning reference P/20/0014/PAN).
Public Consultation Events are normally held in a local venue to allow individual members of the public, community groups and stakeholders to learn more about proposals for development projects which are at the pre-application stage and provide feedback. This is a statutory requirement of the Scottish planning system.
Due to the current Covid-19 emergency, the requirement to undertake public events is no longer appropriate. Accordingly, Scottish Government has prepared interim guidance which temporarily suspends the requirement for a public event.
Following the submission of a Proposal of Application Notice (PAN), a prospective applicant now needs to undertake alternative means of online engagement. This will help to inform the planning application for the development.
This online consultation event is intended to inform you about a proposed planning application for a residential development at Strathaven Road, Hamilton by Robertson Homes. The exhibition forms part of a formal pre-application process and the primary purpose is to seek your views on the proposed development. You are invited to engage through the Live Chat function where you will be able to speak to members of Robertson Homes or submit a completed questionnaire via the attached link.
Following the exhibition, once Robertson Homes have collated all comments from the community, Robertson Homes will submit a planning application. When a planning application is submitted, the surrounding community will be notified by South Lanarkshire Council and provided with the opportunity to submit formal comments to the Council at that time. We currently anticipate that the planning application would be submitted in February 2020.

Proposal
Presentation of the proposals can be viewed and downloaded for consideration. The Presentation consists of a number of boards explaining the principles of the proposal, as well as other relevant information.
Your Feedback
A feedback questionnaire is available online and to download to allow feedback. The completed feedback questionnaire needs to be submitted via the website or returned within 14 days after the public event.
All online consultation will comply with the current Data Protection obligations. Any personal data and feedback received will be held in confidence and not distributed to third parties. In addition, any feedback provided via the Live Chat or Feedback form will be dealt with anonymously unless otherwise specified.
