Stylish living in a thriving market town

Beautifully located in fertile farmland on the banks of the River Lossie, Elgin was described by 17th century writer Daniel Defoe as “a very agreeable place to live in” – a description that still fits this friendly capital of the Moray region perfectly.

Dating back to the 1200s, Elgin Cathedral was once known as the Lantern of the North. Having survived the ravages of the infamous ‘Wolf of Badenoch’ in 1390, the historic structure now forms a rich backdrop for contemporary shopping, leisure and entertainment venues, alongside the colonnade of St Giles and Elgin’s wide, pedestrian High Street. The area is also famous as the home of world-renowned whisky, cashmere and shortbread brands.

A new collection of award-winning homes

Elgin provides the attractive setting for our Hamilton Gardens development. Already an established, upmarket community only a mile and a half from the town centre, Hamilton Gardens offers brand new three, four and five-bedroom detached homes from our stylish Boutique range.

The town offers plenty of opportunities for fresh air and exercise, with a riverside walk, leisure centre, playing fields and tennis courts. The nearby fishing town of Lossiemouth has a stunning beach where golden sands meet the Moray Firth.

With Inverness to the West and Aberdeen to the East, Elgin is well connected via road, rail and air. The town is situated on the A96, while Inverness Airport is only 40 minutes’ drive away. Elgin has ten primary schools and two secondary schools, all with an excellent reputation.

Generous specifications and trusted brands

The Hamilton Gardens development consists of a selection of homes from our award-winning Boutique range. Built with minute attention to detail and the experience accumulated throughout the Robertson Group’s 50 years of house building, these homes have bright, spacious rooms in layouts that are practical and modern.

The Kelvin kitchens have integrated Smeg appliances, while the bathrooms feature sleek sanitaryware and contemporary Porcelanosa tiling.

Turf is laid to front and rear gardens, and an 1800mm gated timber fence is fitted as standard. Internal doors and woodwork have a high-quality, contemporary ‘mist grey’ finish.

These features all add up to create a stylish, warm and secure home in a truly welcoming environment.
